Having a relationship with God is easy as knowing your A, B, C's.

A - Admit to God that you are a sinner, that you haven't lived up to His standards.

• "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord".

            (Romans 6:23; New Living Translation)

B - Believe that God sent His only Son Jesus to pay your sin debt, by dying on the cross for you, that Jesus was buried and God raised Jesus from the dead so that you can live a wonderful life now, and when you die, you can live with God in heaven forever.

• "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.  God sent his SOn into the world, not to judge the world, but to save the world through him". 

             (John 3:16-17, New Living Translation)

• "Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.  He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

            (I Corinthians 15:3b-4, New Living Translation)

C - Commit your life to God through faith in the person of Jesus Christ, and what God did for you through his Son Jesus.  This can be done by confessing in a prayer your faith in Jesus and asking God to forgive you your sins.  And in praying,you ask the Spirit of Jesus to come into your life and remain there forever.

• "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved".

            (Romans 10:9-10, New Living Translation)

If you are not sure how to pray, here is a prayer yo can use as a guide to ask Jesus to save you today.

Dear God, I realize I haven't lived up to your standards, and have sinned.  I ask you God to forgive me of my sins, helping me to turn away from that type of lifestyle.  For I believe that you sent your son Jesus to die for me, to pay for my sin debt, and that you raised him fromthe dead, so that I may live forever with you someday.  I ask you, Jesus, to come into my heart right now to save me and remain in my life forever.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
